Our boat operations are running!

Join us Monday through Friday to dive Lanai’s Cathedrals. All trip availability is visible and bookable online for the same price as on the phone. We are currently limiting our boat to 14 divers to maximize safety and experience.

COVID-19 Tour Procedures

The Dive Maui team believes it is our responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Current Maui County regulations limit group charters to 75% coastguard regulated capacity to allow for social distancing.

This means all our scuba trips and whale watches will now be VIP TOURS with even more space and smaller groups!!!!

Staying Safe & Healthy

The Dive Maui team believes it is our kuleana (responsibility) to do our best to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Our dive shop is open Monday – Friday from 8am – 2pm and Saturdays from 8am – 11am.

We ask that you help us practice social distancing and limit the number of customers in the shop to 2 at a time.

We require crew and guests to wear a mask at all times in our shop and on the boat until the moment they are entering the water.

Dive gear is sanitized with CDC approved cleaners between uses. We also sanitize the shop and boat between customers and trips.

Covid-19 restrictions on Maui

Hawaii residents have come together to keep the islands safe during this pandemic and, in doing so, have achieved one of the lowest COVID-19 case rates of any state in America. Visitors can once again enjoy Hawaii’s natural beauty and unique experiences, but we ask you for your help to join in our efforts to keep Hawaii safe.

As of October 15, 2020 individuals arriving on Maui are required to present an approved negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of flying or quarantine for 14 days. Other Hawaiian islands might have different requirements.

Hawaii’s reopening is an evolving process and we recognize that it can cause confusion to travelers. Things are constantly changing, so we recommend you check the status of travel before you fly.

Our Boat

At the moment, we are limiting our boat to 9 passengers to allow for maximum social distancing.

We will still provide deli-style lunch and reusable and refillable water bottles for every guest.

If you’d like an even smaller group, all of our shore diving and courses are limited to 4 guests. Meaning you and your family will feel safer in your own small group with just you and your instructor. We also offer private charters for SCUBA, snorkeling, and whale watching on our boats.
