this handsome Viking is Nichlas Holm. Nichlas (there’s no “o”) hails from Denmark but has lived all over the world on different tropical islands for the last few years. He loves the Maui life above and below the water. His favorite marine animals are rays and sharks. If you stop by the shop chances are you’ll dive with Nichlas or see him using his handy engineering degree to fix anything and everything that needs fixing. Ask him about anything to do with the water, or football (the European kind) his favorite team is Manchester United.
Captain Levi was born and raised in the great(est) State of Montana. After spending a couple of summers on Oahu he moved to Maui to attempt a scuba career. It worked! After 9 years on Maui he still enjoys long dives, and bud light's after sunsets!
Jordan has been ocean crazed since the time she was a little kid. However, being from Cleveland, Ohio she did not have the change to become scuba certified until she was 18. She fell more and more in love with the ocean as she traveled through Australia and Thailand in 2016. She found herself taking one PADI course after another and before she knew it she was spending 2 months in Roatan, Honduras completing her PADI Divemaster course. The plan was to stop there but after completing her two months she realized she wanted to move onto instructor level. Her love for diving and sharks led her to doing her PADI Instructor course in the shark capitol of the world, the Bahamas. Jordan ended up staying and working in the Bahamas for a year and a half as a scuba instructor and shark feeder. Jordan is thrilled to now be on the Dive Maui team, continuing to instruct and take people diving, teaching them about the wonders of the ocean and why it is so important to conserve and protect.
Jeff was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After graduation, Jeff moved to Arizona and pursued his dream of becoming a fireman. He was hired by the Fire Department in 1995 and currently holds the rank of Captain/Paramedic. In addition to being a fireman, Jeff is a PADI Instructor. Jeff’s true passion is living on Maui where he loves to dive, certify divers, and see the joy in people’s faces as they experience the underwater world. Jeff loves photography and enjoys capturing beauty above, and especially below, the water on camera. He has traveled the world photographing both land and sea. When not teaching, guiding dives, or personally exploring the ocean floor, you will most likely find Jeff on the beach in his hometown of Lahaina enjoying the sunset with his beautiful wife, Jen, and their dog, Cooper.
CJ learned to dive from Captain Steve as a kid and worked at Dive Maui during college break in the summer of 2007. CJ is a devoted yogi and in 2016 yoga took her to Thailand where she went diving again and was startled by how similar it is to yoga. She believes diving and yoga are forms of active meditation that open the mind and contribute to a collective consciousness with nature conservation at the heart. Shortly after her reintroduction to diving, CJ moved from Thailand to Indonesia and enrolled in PADI Divemaster and PADI Instructor courses. After completing her training, CJ stayed in Indonesia to work as a dive professional and met her husband, Nichlas, who is a dive instructor as well. CJ and Nichlas left Indonesia in 2018 to work in the Bahamas as shark photographers. In August of 2018 CJ and Nichlas returned to Maui. CJ is grateful to be back, diving with Steve, teaching yoga, and planning yoga and scuba retreats. When she’s not diving or on the mat CJ enjoys exploring and adventuring around the island with Nichlas and their dog, Zeppelin.
