Aid to the people of Lahaina who need it most.

A message from the Dive Maui team

A lot of you have been asking where you can donate to the victims of the fire in Lahaina. Mahalo for your generosity. All members of the Dive Maui team are safe.

All members of the Dive Maui team are also w2 employees who qualify for unemployment and are going to be alright on the other side of this catastrophe.

Not all members of the Lahaina community have as many safeguards and suddenly lost everything on August 8th. We ask that you please direct your aid to the people of Lahaina who need it most.

We would like to share a few families who mean the world to us and without whom Dive Maui could not operate.

•Nick Bennet and ohana.

Lahaina born and raised, Nick worked at Dive Maui for many years before starting his engine repair business. Nick has saved many trips for us over the years with a last minute engine fix and he has done the same for almost every boat owner on the Westside. He and his family lost their home and business. You can donate to them: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bennetts-rebuild-lahainastrong

•Auntie Benae and ohana.

Benae is Dive Maui’s littlest mermaid’s swim teacher and started the process to get Muti ready to guide you all underwater one day. Benae’s home was Muti’s home too. She spent long days there with Benae and her children so CJ could captain the boat. Their ohana lost everything in the fire. You can donate to them via this link:

•Carol Ah Pak and ohana.

Carol is Muti’s daycare auntie. Muti attended daycare at Carol’s home with 6 other children and was so loved. Not only was there a business in the home, the house was home to multiple generations of family. Carol lost her house, her mother’s house next door, her daycare business, and the other family deli business, Nagasako Store. You can donate to them via this link: Venmo – @camille-akana

•Cole Lowen and family.

Cole is Dive Maui’s welder. Like Nick, Cole is Lahaina bred and has come in, literally at the midnight hour welding all night, to save our trips. Cole lost all his welding equipment in the fire. You can donate to Cole via this link: https://gofund.me/b203c3fb

Thank you. We all need to work together to rebuild. Lahaina strong!

Visit Maui in October

Visiting Maui in October

October delivers Maui’s most spectacular diving conditions of the entire year—peak water temperatures of 82°F combined with over 100 feet of visibility create what we call “diving paradise.” As local ocean experts who spend every day on these waters, we can tell you October represents the perfect intersection of summer’s warmth and fall’s comfortable island atmosphere.

Visit Maui in September

September represents Maui’s hidden gem for ocean lovers—a month when the intense summer crowds dissipate while the ocean maintains its warmest, most inviting conditions. As your local dive professionals, we consider September the ultimate “insider’s month” where calm seas, excellent visibility, and our small-group philosophy combine perfectly.
